How about I paint you a picture instead?

I'm sitting here at my flimsy Amazon no-name brand L-Desk that's literally being held together by duct tape and prayers, and my heavy laser printer on one end so that the leg doesn't pop out of the cracked hole in the desk plate, while the rest of the desk is pretty much immovable, resting permanently against the corner of my living room. A plain window to my right and slightly behind me, should have a mini-blind to obscure some of the light coming in, and to shield prying eyes from my Life's Work of writing anime fiction, but the blind broke, literally came apart when I decided to clean it in the bathtub last year, but never got a chance to...

Anyway, my computer is an Alienware R13. It was state-of-the-art in 2022 when I bought it on credit from Dell Technologies, that I stopped being able to pay back after I was forced out of my rented room because my intoxicated landlady got drunk one night and decided she didn't want me getting in her way while I got ready to go to my job the next morning! Anyway, it's got a Generation 12 i9-12900KF 3.19 GHz, 64 GB out of 128GB RAM, NVidia GeForce RTX 3800 Ti (12 GB) with a 2.5 TB hard drive and a 4TB external hard drive (filled with TTRPG books and Anime from the 90s through 2000s)

I primarily use only one of the two monitors I have. A 27" dead in front of me is large enough for most of my computing tasks. A smaller 24" is over toward my right-front, and I use that for YouTube and Discord communications when the need arises. I have a Creative Surround Sound Speaker setup, that I barely ever use, and a XenceLabs drawing tablet that I also hardly ever use-- but I have plans to some day, when I finally crack open the Beginner's Guide to Drawing Manga: Chibi book I got from Amazon sometime during 2024 or 2025.

Since we're talking about what's on my decrepit desk anyway, I've also got a plethora of pens that I've accidentally stolen from work-- the cheap ten cent black pens that actually write in a dark shade of grey-- all crammed into a coffee mug that I made in a pottery class that features a traced character of Azusa Azuki, from the manga, The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat. Beside that I've got the 1000 caplet bottle of Acetaminophen and the 1000 Coated Tablets of Ibuprofen next to a collection of quartz crystals that spectacularly catch the sunlight coming in from the aforementioned window during the afternoon. Of final note, I have two keyboards, a wireless one that I'm most comfortable on, and an ultra-clicky typewriter-style keyboard that's wired as a backup, and a Logitech G-something-or-other weighted precision mouse.

Oh, and my coffee mug filled with lukewarm, heavily creamed coffee. And a desk lamp for nighttime use, because I don't really care to sit in the dark when I get home from work at 8:00 pm.
